Call for Presentations - SMTA/CAVE Harsh Environment Electronics Workshop

The SMTA and Auburn University are once again organizing a Harsh Environment Electronics Workshop based on the success of the three previous conferences. This event will be held July 19-20 in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. John Evans, Conference Chairman and Dr. Ken Gilleo, SMTA Vice-President for Technical Programs invite you to submit an abstract to participate in this exciting program. The July workshop will once again focus on harsh environments and we are soliciting abstracts that will provide new and timely information to workshop attendees on the latest developments. The workshop format will allow a significant amount of time for interaction, questions, and answers. The deadline for abstracts is March 1, 2006 Specific subject areas include, but are not limited to, those listed below: -- Issues and Opportunities - Automotive Harsh Environment -- Activities in Semiconductor Technology for Harsh Environment Electronics -- Issues with Harsh Vehicle Systems -- Substrate Advancements for Harsh Environment Electronics -- Next Generation Harsh Automotive Systems -- Connectors and Interconnect Technology -- Lead-Free Implementation for Harsh Environment Electronics -- Advancements in Materials for Harsh Environment Electronics Please provide a 200-300 word abstract to the Conference Coordinator, Melissa Serres. Abstracts can be submitted via email as a Word document attachment, to the address melissa@smta.org.
