Asustek's 2006 sales from broadband sector to double

Asustek's takeover of network specialist Askey Computer should help its broadband business revenues jump two-fold in 2006, according to company chairman and CEO Jonney Shih. The company has set up a three-year goal regarding sales performance of its broadband division, but details are not available for public disclosure, said Shih.
