Arrow to provide R&D supply chain solution to Agilent Technologies' Penang operations

Arrow Components (M) Sdn Bhd announced it will provide Agilent Technologies Inc. with a research and development supply-chain support solution that is expected to reduce the risk and complexity of the R & D process while driving improvements in time-to-market. Arrow is the first distributor to provide such a solution to Agilent in its Penang operations.
 
"We are extremely excited to be working with Agilent on this initiative. Our solution covers product cycle upstream, at the design and development stage. Arrow will be supplying the electronics components and supplementing technical expertise to Agilent, which will allow Agilent to focus on its core R&D activities. These improvements in time-to-market are possible due to Arrow's unique combination of information, technical, materials planning, and production management expertise," said Nat Cheang, Vice President, Alliance, Arrow Asia Pac.
