BenQ reported on November 10 that revenues generated by its Mobile Business division totaled NT$8.3 billion (US$248 million) in October, accounting for 39% of its total consolidated revenues of NT$21.36 billion (US$646 million) for the month. The results are in line with the company's earlier expectations that the mobile unit, following its integration with Siemens' mobile phone unit, would contribute over 50% to its total revenues in the fourth quarter, in contrast to the 7% contribution in the third quarter. Company CFO Eric Yu asserted that revenues from the mobile unit will continue to grow in November due to increasing effective integration between BenQ and Siemens' mobile businesses. BenQ's Taiwan revenues reached NT$13.18 billion (US$394 million) in October, down 6% sequentially from September, but up 23% on-year, the company said. source: DigiTimes
