Juki Automation Systems wins several major orders from European countries
Nov 15, 2005
After several months of negotiations with an Italian customer, a contract for the delivery of nine high-speed lines could be closed. The lines consist of three assemblers each and will be equipped with Juki's Intelligent Feeder System IFS-X. The shipment of the first line is planned for December. The remaining eight lines will be installed within the next six months. At the end of September two orders for all in all five assemblers were taken in at the Forum de l'électronique trade fair in Paris. This is especially positive as there was a considerable low in investments in France over the past few months. One of the lines was shipped to the customer directly from the fair; the second one will be shipped by the end of the year. Eastern Europe is a very active area at the moment as well. In early November we could take in an order from the Czech Republic for four lines with eight assemblers in total. These lines will also be equipped with IFS-X2 and shall be supplied before the end of this year. Juki Automation Systems will thus again reach a record result in the last quarter of 2005.
