New Microjet dispensing system from Essemtec
Oct 07, 2005
The new automatic dispensing system CDS6250 from ESSEMTEC can dispense up to 150 drops per second (540.000 drops per hour). The Microjet dispensing valve produces smallest dots of down to 2 nl. The three axis dispensing system is easily programmable. It can bring remarkable advantages in many applications in electronics, mechanical and medical industry. Adhesives with and without filler, pastes, oils, lubricants, colours, lacquer, flux, solder resist or conformal coating are just some examples from the extremely wide application range of the jet dispensing system. Almost all media with a viscosity between 50 and 200.000 mPas can be dispensed. Remarkable cost and time savings can be achieved in applications where the substrate is curved or bent. Unlike other needle based dispensing systems, the gap between the jet valve and the substrate can vary. Therefore, the dispenser can travel at a fixed height while the substrates height changes. Other advantages are the jet valve's speed and precision and it's capability to produces very small dots. The volume of a single drop can be as small ad 2 nl.
