Jan O'Connor resigns as MD at Contax

After 7 years as managing director at production automation specialist, Contax Ltd, Jan O'Connor has decided to stand down from this position.

Jan has enjoyed considerable success during his time as MD, but has now decided that he wishes to devote more time to his other business interests.  He will remain a part-time non-executive board director at Contax, and a significant shareholder in the Company. 

Jan is succeeded by Mike Rapson, a well-known and respected industry figure.  Mike has worked at Contax for 20 years, including 16 as a board director.  He originally trained as an engineer and has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University.
