The Board Authority Live examines the impact of green technologies
Sep 21, 2005
The Board Authority Live (TBA Live), produced by CircuiTree Magazine, will be held September 26, 2005 at the Rosemont Convention Center in Chicago, IL. This is the first international conference series, addressing the greening of the PCB industry. Presenters will address the impact of environmental legislation like RoHS and the WEEE Directive on printed circuit manufacture. Topics will cover everything from laminate selection to ensuring PCB reliability. The Board Authority Live will be alongside the SMTA International Conference at Assembly Technology Expo. "We're excited to be working with SMTA on presenting this conference to the entire electronics supply chain," says CircuiTree Publisher Steve Gold. "We hope our focus on printed circuit board manufacture will give the SMTA International Conference greater breadth in its educational offering." Six of the fifteen authors will discuss data beyond their published papers, answering fabrication, assembly, and OEM engineering concerns. Participants can ask questions related to their specific manufacturing situation during our popular Q&A Panel Session.
