Fine-pitch printer with vision from ESSEMTEC
Aug 05, 2005
The new SP200-AV from ESSEMTEC is an easy-to-operate semiautomatic stencil printing machine which controls and regulates all printing parameters. The only manual task is to place the PCB into the machine. All other operations - including the positioning of the PCB - are fully automatic. The machine produces precise reproducible printing results. It is designed for serial production but can also be used for small batches due to the simple changeover. The fast 2-point-vision system claims to provide a precise alignment of every PCB. To guarantee the exact positioning for printing, two cameras look straight through the stencil onto the PCB. The cleanliness of the stencil and the alignment are checked simultaneously; misalignment is corrected automatically. The control software is based on Windows operating system. It is easy to learn and simple to operate with the built-in mouse and keyboard. All printing parameters are programmable and the storage capacity for printing programs is unlimited. The side drawer of the printer provides simple loading and unloading of the PCB, therefore production is efficient and throughput is high. The SP200-AV is built very rigid which guarantees long-term reliability and accuracy. Frames of 584x584 mm (23x23") can be mounted, the maximum printing area is 400x360 mm (15.7x14.2")..
